Who we are#

Crevox runs this waitlist for the Crevox app for macOS and iOS. Write to us any time at contact@crevox.io.

What we collect#

Your email address, when you join.

Where you came from, if the link you used said so (for example a link we posted on Instagram), and whose referral link you used.

Your survey answers, if you give them: your trade, team size, what eats your week and the tools you use.

When you joined, when you confirmed your email and when you answered the survey.

Whether you opted in to introductory emails and product updates, the version of that choice and when you made it.

Email sending and delivery status, including failures, bounces and complaints, so we can operate the email sequence and stop messages that should not be sent.

What we use it for#

To keep your place in line, count the owners who join with your link and invite you when it's your turn.

To email you about the waitlist: your place, your link, when you move up and when you're invited.

The current signup form includes four introductory emails: your welcome email, a note from the founder due 10 minutes after the welcome is accepted for sending, and two introductions around two and five days after signup. The three follow-up messages require a confirmed email address. Timing can vary with confirmation and delivery. You can unsubscribe at any time. Earlier signups keep the email preferences they chose; the founder note is not added to existing subscriptions.

To decide what to build first, from the survey answers.

To manage the waitlist through a private dashboard and owner notifications about new signups, first survey responses and weekly activity.

We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for ads.

Cookies#

The public waitlist uses two functional cookies. One keeps the referral code from a friend's link for up to 30 days and is cleared after a new signup. The other lasts 2 hours after you join, so you can send the survey without opening your email first.

The private owner dashboard uses a separate secure sign-in cookie for up to 7 days. It is not used to measure visitors. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

Website analytics#

We measure visits to the public waitlist and documentation, which pages people view, and clicks and signup-form activity. Records include the public page path, time, broad browser and device type, approximate country, and limited source or campaign labels. We do not store full page URLs, raw query strings or full referrer URLs in these analytics records.

To estimate daily visitors, our server uses the request's IP address and broad browser and device information to calculate a keyed identifier that changes each day and for each site. The raw IP address and full browser user-agent string are not stored in our analytics records. These are estimates: shared networks and changing connections can affect the counts.

A random visit ID is sent with these records and held only in memory in your browser, without cookies, local storage or session storage. While a page is visible, it sends a short activity signal about every 25 seconds. A visit stops counting as active when it is reported hidden or has not been seen for 75 seconds. This indicates a recently visible page, not proof that someone is reading it.

When our server accepts a new signup, we can connect that event to its visit and internal waitlist record. Analytics records do not contain the email address or survey answers. Private status links, the owner dashboard and referral-link tokens are excluded from page tracking.

This analytics collection is skipped when your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. It is used to understand and improve our website, not for advertising or tracking you across other websites. Hosting providers may process request information separately to deliver and protect the site.

Stopping abuse#

To stop floods of fake signups we count requests per address. We store a one-way scrambled form of the IP address or email, never the address itself, and delete it within a day.

Who handles it for us#

Supabase stores the waitlist and our website analytics in its data center in Frankfurt, Germany. Resend sends our emails. Vercel hosts this site.

Your choices#

Every waitlist email has a Leave the list link. Leaving stops further waitlist emails and cancels any pending introductions. An email already handed to the delivery provider may still arrive.

To see, fix or delete what we hold about you, write to contact@crevox.io and we'll do it.

How long we keep it#

We keep your data while the waitlist runs. Ask us at contact@crevox.io any time and we'll delete it.
